EA Recovery Hub
/I was pleased to visit the East Ayrshire Recovery Hub this morning to present a cheque for funds raised from my efforts "running Roon The Toon " and this will go towards their New Heights Project.
It was great to meet up again with Manager Steph McCutcheon and the team and be updated on the work they are doing to support folks and hear of their plans for the future. Steph also sits on the National Drugs Mission Oversight Group and is working collaboratively with a number of different local agencies to create a network that is of real value in the constituency.
The Hub is an excellent facility and it is clear to me that the team have the right approach to supporting folks on their recovery journey, offering that sustained support and providing an environment that offers opportunities which can then lead to improved outcomes and employability.
