I asked Margot James MP why Scotland only gets a fraction of broadband funding in comparison to England.
Our land mass equates to two-thirds of the size of England, we also have more challenging geography and islands to cover.
However when it comes to broadband funding, Scotland only receives 20% of what England is given:

As parliamentarians we must always be mindful of the power of the language we use, and I wanted to call on the Leader of the House today to ensure that appropriate actions are taken to rectify this behaviour.
Apparently the Tory Secretary of State for Scotland finds my question asking for confirmation of the timeline for the UK Government to agree the Ayrshire Growth Deal as a “constant flow of negativity!". The only negative is his inability to answer such a basic question!
